Surrogacy

Why is surrogacy still such a controversial subject? I have been doing my research on this topic. I talked to some people who are fertile and have no problem in having children. Most of their reviews were negative about this. They said it was too controversial and risky. I agree it is risky. But controversial, still? I don't think so. It is 2018 people. I guess they don't see it through the eyes of the people who cant have children naturally. They don't know what we go through. So many people even discourage it. If you are not a supporter, fine. But at least don't discourage it. It is benefitting so many people in this world. So many clinics have opened that are doing this for people on comparatively lower costs. I had my son through surrogacy too. I went to Ukraine for it. I really wanted to spread awareness about this topic. I'd really like to hear your views about this,

I completely agree with you! I'm an advocate for Physician's Surrogacy here in San Diego. My goal is to find women willing to either donate their eggs or become a surrogate. The concept makes a lot of people uncomfortable because it is "controversial". I'm really happy to hear the surrogacy worked for you! It is a beautiful thing truly.

Hi Melissa! I totally agree with you. You've written a very nice post. I support you in this matter. I don't know why people are so selfish. Why do people think about themselves only? People don't have a heart, maybe. They think that if people are going for surrogacy, they are making a wrong choice. I completely disagree with this. People who can't conceive naturally go through so much pain I never realized this before I came to know that I am also infertile. I had totally forgotten how to survive anymore. I lost all my hopes. It felt like my world has collapsed. Until one day I made a research on surrogacy. This process built hope in me. I have a baby boy now. I am truly blessed and thankful to the doctors who helped me out.

Well the persons who never experienced it. Who don't even have an idea that how much cutial it is. They never know about this. In my thinking. I never give a damn about such people review. How could they give review and say such things about this. They don't even know the suffering that we have to face being infertile. It's so much devastating situations for us. We have to face them. It's us whose opinion may matter. The people never experienced it. They better keep their voices low in these matters. Surrogacy is a great process. I loved it. I am going to experience it because that is the only option left for me. I think it's best.

Hi there. Hope you're doing fine. Thankyou for this great post. This really needed to be said. I don't understand how people can say stuff like that. Even there are some countries that don't allow surrogacy and ban it. I don't get why. The only thing it has done is help people and made them happy. It has completed so many families. Why do people call it controversial? I think it's time that we realize that the world has more important issues than just someone who's getting what they want. I feel like people should just try to be happy for each other. And let them do what they want. I am glad someone started this topic. It's very important. And mostly ignored. Anyways best of luck to you for the future. Stay happy.

I agree with you here Melissa! People should really start getting awareness about it! It's still considered like a taboo here in the WEST. People should adapt with time. It's really a great way for those who can't have it naturally...Last year my cousin sister has had her procedure at a repro center in Ukraine. She was fine with it! Now, living happily than ever. I congrats you on your child...Stay blessed. xx

It will always remain a controversial topic.Just because you took the time out to do your research. It does not mean everyone else will as well. This is like saying why is extremism so controversial. It has no solid base for an argument.Although I agree with you a 100% but just saying.I don't see the risk in the whole situation though.as long as you are getting it done from a reputable clinic. You pay the bills for the experience.Just like everything else in life.Yes, you are right about other people discouraging it.That just seems very stupid to me.Surrogacy is honestly a life saver for couples like ours.I honestly don't know what I would've done if it wasn't for surrogacy.I haven't really gotten it done yet.I am planning to go on a fertility tour though.Let's see how things end up.

Sloth55 you raised a really good point.Fertility is taken for granted so much. There was this really great TEDx talk about it.Like how fertile people should start appreciating there fertility. They honestly won't even try to understand. For them it's simple. All they say is why don't you go for adoption.Ugh so frustrating I swear.

Dear Melissa, you have initiated a really great topic. People usually object few things for the sake of objection. It all happens because everyone looks at a particular thing in a different way. Their difference in perception is what makes their views distinct from other people. Surrogacy is a similar topic. With the growing rate of infertility, the alternatives to infertility are also becoming popular. The infertile couples who are desperate for the kids consider surrogacy as a blessing. On the contrary, some countries do not allow surrogacy. It is because of the religious and legal implications. In some countries, they believe that surrogacy brings a mental trauma for the surrogate. After carrying the baby for nine months she gets bonded in a strong bond. This becomes really difficult to separate from the baby. In some countries, the cultural taboos don't allow a woman to carry the sperms of a man she is not married to. The same proposition is supported by the religious people. Like any other procedure, this has its own pros and cons. I believe instead of paying attention to what others say we should decide what is own mind and heart says.

Surrogacy is controversial subject for those who can have baby on their own.
You better should have some reviews from women or people who are infertile. This is the blessing for them.
    I'm 43 year old now.
I'm married now and i was married before.
From my first marriage i had no luck with having children although i conceived for 3 times.
I had many complications while getting pregnant.
I was pregnant thrice but had miscarriages everytime.
I am married for second time i want to have a baby now.
Having a look at my previous pregnancy period i guess it is not a good idea to be pregnant again.
So i talked to my husband and have agreed him to go for surrogacy option.
Surrogate are willing to carry our child and the clinic had said that the surrogate will have no effect on the DNA of our child.
The child will be off my and my husband DNA.
BioTexCom is the perfect clinic for surrogacy i guess from the reviews of its clients.
You should also visit BioTexCom for surrogacy method.
I also contacted some surrogates who are willing to carry someone's child in their womb.
Now we are looking for a perfect surrogate to carry our child in her womb.
I also met some mothers raising babies from surrogacy procedure.
I have contacted many surrogacy related clinics and had gathered a lot of information regarding this process.
I guess someone here will also be going to surrogacy and will guide us.

I'm sharing my journey of Surrogacy with you.
I'm basically from Japan we are settled in Japan from past few years. We are happily married.I'm totally infertile now as i had hysterectomy cancer and as i result i am infertile now. But my husband was there with me every time. Than we searched about surrogacy and found it best solution for us.
As Japan has banned surrogacy so we moved to Europe to find our dream come true.Than we moved to Ukraine as we heard there are many good clinics regarding surrogacy in Ukraine. In Ukraine we found BioTexCom and consulted them. They helped us to find a good surrogate mom.Now she is pregnant with our twin daughters. We are very excited about having two daughters. We are so thankful to the clinic. The surrogates mom are kind they let us have our dream come true.
