Weight gain and pregnancy? Thoughts?

I am a first-time mom to a seven-month old little girl and throughout my pregnancy and since having my daughter, I've noticed that the issue of weight and weight gain in pregnancy is so controversial. I am also a graduate student in the UCLA Department of Psychology. I am trying to earn my PhD while also staying at home and caring for my baby. Because I have found pregnancy and motherhood to be so transformational, I am actually conducting my doctoral dissertation on experiences of pregnant women and new moms. I am hoping that the results of my study will help benefit health and well-being for women around the country. Pregnancy is very beautiful and amazing moment of your life but it comes with various challenges.     I had two back to back . I went from 130 lbs to 200 back to 150 got pregnant again back up to 200 now six mos postpartum I'm at 115 my high school weight . Want the big secret???

    CLEAN food and water! Id estimate that 90% of the food at the average grocery store is terrible for our diets.

    I cured my early onset chrons with cutting out sugar , processed food, and replacing it with a ton of fruit and vegetables.

    Reverse osmosis water with pink Himalayan salt added back is the ONLY water on Earth that is safe for us to be drinking these days.

    There is a big difference with the transformation. I have been looking for a child long enough. So when finally I came across bio tex clinic. It was my turning point. It was my turning point thinking of surrogacy. The treatment was a success. I am now a happy mother. The transformation was so huge. From a woman with no kids to a mother.     Making sure you have a well-rounded diet is really important during your pregnancy. Eating healthy meals will allow you to gain the weight you need to provide crucial nourishment for your child. Putting on weight that is unnecessary is easy to do if you are eating junk food that are traditionally much higher in sugar and fat. Watching what you eat and the sources of your foods and known side effects to every single thing you put in your body is mandatory. Everything you consume gets passed on to your child. If you're eating unhealthy food when you are pregnant, your baby is eating unhealthy food. Talking to your health care provider about your weight gain is important. Try not to worry if you’re slightly above or below these weights. Find a nutritionist in your area who can help you manage your weight with proper healthy eating. Gaining more than recommended during pregnancy puts you at a higher risk for high blood pressure disorders, including gestational hypertension (high blood pressure that starts during pregnancy) and preeclampsia (sometimes called toxemia). These conditions may result in a preterm delivery.

    Eating a healthy, balanced diet will help your baby get the nutrients he or she needs and grow at a healthy rate. But how many extra calories do you really need? Though you do need some extra calories. It's not necessary to ''eat for two.'' The average pregnant woman needs only about 300 healthy calories more a day than she did before she was pregnant. This will help her gain the right amount of weight during pregnancy. Gaining less than the recommended amount of weight in pregnancy is associated with delivering a baby who is too small. Some babies born too small may have difficulty starting breastfeeding. May be at increased risk for illness. And may experience developmental delays. Not meeting the milestones for his or her age. Gaining more than the recommended amount of weight in pregnancy is associated with having a baby who is born too large. Which can lead to delivery complications, cesarean delivery, and obesity during childhood.
