My younger daughter is very fond of chocolates and this has affected her teeth very badly. I didn’t know it was this bad until yesterday when she told me about her toothache. I was shocked to see her teeth are almost brown in color. She is 11 years old and I thought she is big enough to take care of her oral health. I was not able to look after her because of my heavy works in the office. I'm planning to take her to a nearby clinic which provides dentistry especially for kids ( http://www.centenarydental.com/childrens-dentistry/ ) which is in Scarborough.
Last time, she had a bad experience with a dentist in our province. So my daughter is very tensed to take an appointment with a dentist. Can someone help me with some tips to convince her? is tooth extraction the only option for this? Will it be painful for a long time?
