Did you/do you like pregnancy?

Long story short: I didn't! I mean, I didn't hate it - wasn't that uncomfortable for the most part - but I sure didn't feel that amazing glow I know some of my friends get.

So I'm curious, if you liked pregnancy, what do you like about it? And if you didn't, what was the worst part?

I liked my first and third pregnancy because they were for the most part fairly easy. I loved the end of my third pregnancy most because I felt so great! My second pregnancy was miserable. I was huge, in pain, and uncomfortable the entire time!!!

Yes, I had a great pregnancy with very little morning sickness, nausea, etc. I'd love to have another baby.

My first pregnancy was wonderful. I didn't know what to expect, but I had absolutely no problems at all. Even when I was about to give birth, when I got the epidural I didn't feel a thing when it was administered and I felt no pain giving birth. Everyone told me I was glowing, lol. My second pregnancy, on the other hand, wasn't a wonderful. I mean it wasn't horrible, but I had morning sickness for the first part. I had just moved to Chicago and I have no relatives or friends here at all. My daughter had just turned 2 years old and I think trying to take care of her in her "terrible 2's" added a little more stress. I also felt a lot more pain when I was pregnant with my son. The doctor told me for some reason I was at high risk of having a baby with down syndrome so I had to have an amniocentesis, which is where they stuck the biggest, fattest needle I had ever seen in my life into my belly button and into the amniotic sack to withdraw amniotic fluid. Thank God my son was just as healthy as ever and doesn't have any disabilities. Oh yea and the administration of the epidural for baby #2 was horrible and painful and the guy stuck me like 3 times! I was crying so hard. So yea, 1st pregnancy good, 2nd pregnancy..... eh.... lol.

Jamika1012: I had the same issue when pregnant with my son. I tested as higher risk for DS and so ended up having to drive into the city for weekly scans, and then we went back and forth on the amnio because I'd miscarried previously. I ended up having the MaterniT21 test and that came back negative so I told the city docs I was back to be a local patient, thanks. But that was literally all summer!

I am almost 38 weeks pregnant right now and honestly, I've loved pregnancy so much more than I initially thought. I've had a missed miscarriage in the past which was quite traumatic, so I think I've taken the attitude that I'm so grateful this time around that I can't complain :) Although, I am very, very achy these days!! And the carpal tunnel… ouch!

I had GERD my whole pregnancy. I was tired, achy, nauseous, and emotional the whole time. I got a small reprieve in the second trimester, but it wasn't that big. I definitely don't miss having to pee every 10 minutes. I was lucky, though, because I had no stretch marks and my labor, from the start of contractions to birth, was about 4 hours. I almost gave birth in a hotel! I felt really good afterwards. Can't say that for everyone!

But for those little baby kicks and the precious gift it brings, I'd do it all again in a heartbeat! :) :)

I am currently 35 weeks pregnant and I have to say I love my pregnancy it was something me and my partner are both greatfull to experience. We had a lot of difficulty and I had a miscarriage so when this pregnancy was set we were happier then ever! I didn't experience the morning sickness or anything really uncomfortable until now. I can't sleep comfortably I feel as big as a house getting around isn't easy anymore but I can't wait too meet my little guy. It's definitely a happy pregnancy for me and I loved it!

Well I am 3 months and it still feels so unreal. I mean besides the throwing up and going to the bathroom every five minutes.
