hi I am new to this forum

Hi Everyone, my husband and I have been married for just over 2 years now. Starting TTC at the end of November. I went off my birth control (after about 8 or so years of being on it My cycle was pretty regular. Every month I would get AF every 28 days. I knew going off BC that my cycle would not be normal for awhile. It was 1 week late in September, non-existent in r, I got it at the beginning  and it was about 35 days later when I got myperiod. My last period was sep 14. I have an iPod app that keeps track of my period and ovulation days based on when my period comes. 
I am new to the whole TTC world so I don't know if I should just wait until next week to see if my AF comes or if I should risk a test.
I'm the type of person that has to read up on everything to do with life and based on my last period 
Any advice?

    Hi there. 8 years of BTC are bound to cause some changes to your hormonal levels. These fluctuations are quite normal. They will take a couple of months to settle down. Still, if you are worried then do consult a doctor. There's no harm in that. In fact, it will help you figure out if there is any other problem going on behind the scenes.

    Wait! until the next week! Otherwise, go to your Gynecologist and tell her your whole situation. See if she recommends you any tests. Otherwise; take medications or whatever things she prescribe to you. It will be better; irregular periods do get better. It's not a huge problem :)

    Hey. It is good to know you are TTC. It is normal to be restless and this situation. I was just like you. So restless and confused. You should take a test. But dont completely rely on the results. Take a few more after some days. That will give you a better result.

    Hey, I hope you are well. I would suggest that you wait for a little while. The best day to test is after a week. If your AF doesn't arrive till a week. Start observing changes in your body. Search online about this. There are various things that you will start to feel. These will really help in determining if you are pregnant or not. Other than this do a test anyways as well after a week. It is better to wait so that the results come out to be accurate. Otherwise, you would just be disappointed. Good luck to you.     Hey, I think that you should test. However, if the test comes out to be BFN dont be disappointed. Just wait a couple of more days and then try again. The tests are unpredictable. I hope things go well for you. I can understand how stressful this might be for you. However,r know that stress is not good for you. If you have been trying for more than 12 years then visit a doctor. This will really help you in the process. Good luck to you. Stay positive and strong. Make sure to visit the right doctor. If you do that things will go well. I am saying this from my own personal experience. Just know that stress isn't good.

    I hope things go well for you. My advice to you would be to start tracking your ovulation date. Download an app for that. It will really help you. Other than that make sure to eat healthy food. Avoid alcohol or caffeine. Apart from that do yoga and exercise. Sending baby dust your way.
